WASHER TOSS GAME

Crafting fun, one print at a time!

This game is an original creation by me, inspired by the traditional Washer Slinging game. This is a table top version.

RULES

(Similar to Cornhole, but played on a table with washers and boxes that have a cup in the center.)

Setup

• Place two boxes (each with a cup in the center) 3–4 feet apart on any flat table or surface. • Decide who goes first (e.g., coin flip or closest toss to the opposite box).

How to Play

• Players or teams take turns tossing 4 washers each from behind their box, aiming for the opponent’s box. • Alternate turns: Player/Team A tosses all 4, then Player/Team B tosses all 4. • Washers that land in the cup or on the box stay until the end of the round. Others are removed.

Scoring

• 3 points: Washer lands in the cup. • 1 point: Washer lands in the box (but not in the cup). • Cancellation scoring: Washers cancel each other out! If one team gets more points in a round, only the difference is added to their score. Example: Team A scores 7 pts (two in cup = 6, one in box = 1). Team B scores 4 pts (one in cup = 3, one in box = 1). Team A gets 3 pts (7 – 4 = 3). • No points for washers on the edge or outside the box.

Winning

• First player/team to exactly 21 points wins! • Bust rule: If you go over 21 (e.g., reach 22+), your score resets to 15 points. • Play until someone hits exactly 21.
